My coaching style aims to empower my students so that they have the confidence and capability to perform in their sport and everyday life. I see myself as more of a teacher rather than a trainer. I want my students to feel like they have learned something and come out a better person after every session. I love sharing the thought process behind a program or exercise. I think it's important to explain the why’s of the practice so they have a better understanding of the reason why I’ve designed their program that way, instead of them blindly following what I’ve done for them. 

I will always say “trust the process.” If you do things with dedication and consistency, it’s only a matter of time until you reach your goal.

PHILOSOPHY

Imagine yourself 10 years from now. How do you look like? Feel like? Will you still be able to run, jump, throw, and bend to pick up stuff? How nimble and energetic do you think you will be? 

 

My fitness philosophy revolves around being able to move the body the way it was designed; whether you're 25 or 75 years old. My training programs focus on weight-loaded functional movements that we would use in everyday life. This challenges the body in a controlled setting and overtime, will empower you to do daily tasks with ease. My training principles revolve around the 5 basic movements. Walk, Run, Jump, Lift, and Throw. By sustaining these 5 basic movements, you will be able to extend your bodies to function optimally as if your were 20 years younger to do everyday life and daily living. 

 

At 39 years old, I pride myself for still being able to play and perform to the same level or if not even better than people or athletes decades younger than me, by simply working on and improving everyday on these 5 basic movements.


In my system, we train to be the best that you can be to reach your fittest you. With that in mind, with any goal, there is a process to achieve that. If you enjoy the process of building and are disciplined and consistent in sticking with the process to get to your goal, there is nothing you can’t achieve.
